Amharic Word is a fun game where you identify a picture - or a word in English - and find the correct Amharic word for it.
You have four stages of difficulty - Easy, Medium, Hard, Expert.
Pick any stage of difficulty and go through the levels. Finding the correct Amharic Word for the picture or English Word shown.
If you dont find the right word, you can try 3 more times to get the answer.
Still no luck? No worries! You are given hints to make it easier and easier to guess the answer.
The full answer is revealed at the end so that you can remember it for next time. Just tap to hear the sound.
With Amharic Word Game App, you can:

- Attempt 4 times to answer each level correctly

I wish the game were simple.. I thought, when they press on dog.. It will tell them in amharic what it is.. I want them to speak... Before they writing.. Now what u try to do is to spell in amharic... I misunderstood the game.. I was so happy to to see the game and the price is right.. I didnt even think twice to buy it.. Even once they spelt, It should be a sound to tell them they are doing great! and tell them what they just spell. For those kids who already have the basic knowledge Amharic characters it might work.. I am thinking the simple game that show them dog photo. And ask what it is... Give them hint when they press A. It tell them cow in amharic B. it tell them dog.. If they choice A. It will show them cow picture and tell them to try again.. In the same time u can spelt it to them. Saying all this I will give u 5 star.. As I said right price point..I wish u great success...I will buy the game again if what I want is for my kids to spell Amharic and if my kids have basic knowledge of Amharic.
It was fun playing this game. Though I am a native speaker of Amharic, I was challenged at times. While novice speakers can learn the language through entertainment, native speakers like myself will find it refreshing to test their vocabulary.
This game does not say the word in Amharic. Only writes the word in amharic. Please fix so my kids can learn Amharic.
I never knew Amharic could be this fun. This game proves me wrong. Highly recommended.
I finally get it, and i do really like the ap. There is no audio, though, so you have to already have a very good vocabulary to play the game. I would like to see the audio added so that I have the option to listen to the word before I try to spell it (in case I dont already know it). I would also love to see more words added in the future. :) Thanks!
